I haven’t done much with markers. However, the few times I have used I have really enjoyed them and liked how the drawings turned out. I want to make many more, but to do so I need more markers!!! One of my favorite drawing was a samurai I made for my design class. it was the first time I put this much effort while using markers, and I rally enjoyed how it looked at the end.

My car keys have my most important souvenirs. I don’t like decorations too much, that is why I only have a few of them. However, my car keys has, so far, two souvenirs. One is from Hawaii and the other one is from Panama. I haven’t been to either of this countries, but I save them as a goal to go there. It would be really fun. I have them in the car’s keychain because it is something that is with me most of the time, therefore allowing them to be with me most of the time. I would like to add more to my collection but maybe change where I keep them, because my car’s keys are beginning to feel heavy.

The last Museum i visited was the Shelby American Museum located in las Vegas, NV. I wen’t there with my father. I have always admired the designs made by Mr. Shelby. In fact, my favorite car, the one I choose over any other car, is the 1967 Shelby GT500, Elenor. This car is a master piece, it is, basically, a modified version of the mustang of the same year. However, the way the body is changed, making it look more robust and aggressive makes Elenor the best car. I was able to see this car at the museum. I will definitely go back some day, it was very fun and inspiring. hopefully one day I will be able to own, or maybe just drive one. This is a really nice museum and I suggest you visit it.

The project OctoSteam was created by Adolfo Gonzalez in 2006. This just makes me think about the future, but not the nice future. What if “Mad Max” was right? what if earth becomes a post apocalyptic place. would cars—well, vehicles—look like this, made out of scrap and made for survival more than transportation. It would really be interesting if it turns out like this. I know is weird but I would like to travel in time. Not to change things, but just to see how things are different from my present.

The first car! I would want to move around this big unexplored planet, and what better way than a vehicle. I would want to design a vehicle and then build it. hopefully it would be in a museum as art work for it’s importance. Make the car useful but also combine with the aesthetics of the planet it self would be awesome. so, designing a spatial car would be the first thing that I would do.

Being part of a design team. It would be awesome to be part of any design team, even if it wasn’t a car company. NASA for example has a very complex group of designers, and being part of it would be nice. Becoming the lead designer of any company would be the next step. but the actual best…not job, but position. Would be to have my own car company or design company. Being not the lead designer but the boss him self, Would be the best thing ever.

I used to work at Panda Express. And cooking there was fun, I had the opportunity to try my own stuff. Mixing the different sauces was always interesting. I haven’t tried cooking any of this at home—mostly because I have no time—but I would love to some day. I also love Asian food, and learning more about cooking it would be really fun.

Also, not having to buy food but cook it my self would also be awesome. 🙂

Hi! My name is Oscar.

I’m part of the Associate of Arts program. I’m looking to transfer to a different college that offers more of what I’m looking for.

So far CSN has helped me develop and learn more about design. Still, it doesn’t offer a more in-depth learning experience about design. Industrial design is my main career. But I want to focus on transportation design, mostly cars. To become de lead designer of a car company is my biggest goal, and might be one of my biggest dreams.

I also enjoy playing golf. I started enjoying golf after coming to the US from Colombia—my home country—when I learned from it from my father. watching movies, anime and playing video games are also a few pastimes I have that I enjoy a lot. I’m currently working at the south Point casino’s Bowling Center.

I want to make the most I can of this class, and hope to get a long with everyone. It’s nice to meet you!
